Our day and community supports provide flexible comprehensive range of services with person-centered options that assist individuals across various aspects of daily living and employment. These services focus on skill development, communication enhancement, building social networks, ongoing learning, access to resources, and health and wellness.

Community Support Program

Offers holistic, individualized, and multilingual services to people of all ages with intellectual disabilities.

Employment Supports

The ACT Initiative is dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, ages 15–50, across York Region in achieving their goals related to employment and/or independence.

Day Supports

Facilitate meaningful community-based activities that encourage choice, independence, and inclusive engagement in the community.

Recreation Program

The Marketplace program provides a full range of educational, recreational and, social programs focused on skill development and social connections.

Summer Camp

Community Living York South offers Summer Day Camp for children ages 8 to 15 and youth/adults ages 16 and up.

Family Operated Programs

Family Operated Programs previously known as Parent Operated Programs (POP) are creative programming options that are led and driven by parents/caregivers and people with lived experience who share a common vision.

Family Networks

Family Networks are collaborative groups focused on strengthening inclusive community connections and fostering sustainable support systems that benefit individuals and their families over the long term.

Supported Living

Provides a variety of housing and support options for adults with intellectual disabilities, designed to promote choice, independence, and meaningful community connections.
