Me & Lau Family Foundation Scholarship
The ME & Lau Family Foundation Scholarship is to encourage and promote the attainment of higher education goals for individuals with a proven financial need in York Region.
Scholarship Amount: $1,200
Eligibility Criteria:
Any grade 12 student or above in Greater Toronto Area who will be attending a post-secondary institution (university or college program)
Family income threshold of $148,000 or below
Application Deadline: June 30, 2026

Summer Camp 2026
The CLYS Summer Camp 2026 will run from June 29 to August 21 and is open to:

Children (ages 8–15)

Youth and adults (ages 16+)
Camp Locations:
Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and virtual options
(Exact locations to be announced soon)
Hours of Operation:
-
In-person camps: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Virtual camps: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Pricing:
-
Early bird pricing available until May 15, 2026 (in-person camps)
-
Virtual camps: $60–$75 per week
-
Regular pricing will apply after the early bird deadline
-
Transportation is additional $30 per week
How to Register / Express Interest:
Families are asked to contact their Community Support Coordinator (CSC) to express interest and indicate if 1:1 support is required.


Skills for Life
Adult Day Program (Ages 18–30)
This program is designed for males aged 18–30 with intellectual disabilities and focuses on building independence, confidence, and practical life skills through structured, engaging activities.
Participants will take part in:

Job readiness and skill-building

Financial literacy

Community engagement

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Fee: $85 per day
Markham Learning Academy
The Markham Learning Academy offers a variety of engaging and meaningful activities designed to support learning, independence, and community participation.
Participants can take part in:

Fitness and wellness activities

Cooking and budgeting
-
Literacy and iPad-based learning
-
Yoga and recreational programming
Participants also enjoy regular outings to local libraries, pools, and restaurants, along with new seasonal trips and community experiences throughout York Region.
