Foundations
Funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services
Foundations is a one-year of support for youth that have recently graduated from high school. Foundations assists people in planning and setting goals for their future. This may include:
• competitive employment
• community connections
• social, educational, and leisure opportunities
The essential goal of Foundations is for people to make informed choices about their future.
To be eligible, one must be:
- over the age of 18
- have an intellectual disability
- receiving little or no support in future planning
Successful candidates will have a desire to become more involved in the community, achieve identified personal goals, meet new people and make new friendships.

Tuesday Self-esteem and Coping Group
On Tuesdays at 4-6PM at 10155 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill
A drop-in group for youth that services as an opportunity for young (aged 16 to 30) to meet in a peer setting, discuss the issues they face on a daily basis and receive support and guidance.
Wednesday Self Esteem and Drama Sessions
On Wednesdays from 9:30am to 12:00noon
A youth group ages 18 to 30 to meet in a peer setting, instructional sessions with direct participation and interactive learning.
