Get Involved / Donate

Your donations have assisted us to enhance our existing support services and create opportunities for people and families in need of support.

In 2009 your contributions helped us to:

  • support people to better understand their citizenship through education in personal rights and freedoms
  • renovate some of our residential homes to promote increased accessibility
  • offer opportunities for children, youth and adults through March Break camps, summer camps and weekend respite services
  • plan strategic directions for the Association’s future
  • support people receiving services to use their voices in directing their own lives
  • facilitate opportunities for Community Living York South’s Self-advocates Council members to participate in awareness initiatives
  • … and more!

There are currently 150 people supported in residential services, 300 people supported in day services and over 1,500 families who directly benefit from your donations.
